Congratulations to Tom Burger and Trey Sucher, who will be our new Chamber directors. We want to thank Julie Degen and Tara Lindsay for their time and dedication as their terms end. We also want to congratulate board director Ethan Anderson and Bethany on the arrival of their son, Simon Emanuel, yesterday.

Chamber/Liberty Dollars

There will be a lot of West Liberty Dollars used this holiday season. Some businesses give them as gifts to their employees as well as our Holiday Open House winners. Remember they are treated just like a check. Merchandise or a service must be bought with them but change can be given if the merchandise does not total the amount of the check. We have numerous checks that were given several months ago that have never been cashed. Gas, food, and items too numerous to mention are available at our Chamber member locations. Slightly Vintage recently received a large inventory of toys perfect for Christmas presents. Start shopping!

Charitable Giving Opportunities

You still have time to take advantage of charitable giving incentives. You can consider giving cash, checks, securities, or funds in your retirement account. We have many organizations that could benefit from this giving. Some addresses have been included since we know your letter will be returned if you don’t have the correct address, especially PO Box numbers.
